*If you are having serious, life-threatening symptoms, or have experienced a serious injury, call 911 and go to the nearest Emergency Room.

When BCHC is closed, you can always reach an on-call BCHC provider after hours. Even if BCHC is closed, call our main number at: 610-988-4838. You will be connected with the answering service. Please provide your name, date of birth (or name and date of birth of your child) and the symptoms you are experiencing. The on-call provider will call you back to discuss your concern and provide advice and direction. Please make sure you are available for the return call from our provider.

Some reasons to call for advice after hours

  • Cold symptoms like stuffy nose, sore throat
  • Flu symptoms like diarrhea, upset stomach, fever, vomiting
  • Ear pain or infection
  • Eye infection, pain or irritation, “pink eye”
  • Poison ivy, other rashes or hives
  • Minor cuts, scrapes or bruises
  • Minor muscle pulls or injury during activities
  • Headaches or migraines
  • Pain when urinating
  • Minor insect bites

Remember if you are seriously sick or injured, you should call 911.
