The OB Nurse (RN) is the initial contact to the OB team and provides prenatal intake and initial education to the newly pregnant patient. The RN is the liaison between BCHC and Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) when required. Along with the providers, she closely monitors all aspects of the pregnant patient. The RN will work with the Clinical Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Outreach Manager, BCHC Management Team and others to develop processes and systems that operationalize BCHC’s mission. The RN actively supports all BCHC efforts to remain Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and PCMH designation by providing quality care regardless of economic status.
